Stefan "Bark" Barkhoff war bereits 1987 Mitglied der Göttinger (?) HC-Skapunk-Band No Respect. In Berlin betätigte er sich in diversen Bands wie den Punk Rock Boys, Grillmöbel, Monoblock C und dem Sandow-Percussionprojekt Ngoma.
2005 entstand aus Bontempi Suicide das Duo Bark (Stefan / voc, progr + Andreas / voc, g) mit sporadischen aber regelmäßigen Auftritten, in den letzten Jahren wieder im Trio mit Heiko (g).
