Moonblood
Black Metal-Band aus Schneeberg, 1994 bis 2000.
Der Duo-Besetzung liefen seit 1988 mehrere Formationen von Tino Mothes voraus, die sich vor allem wegen musikalischer Neuausrichtung immer wieder umbenannten. Auf die erste Inkarnation als Terror & Agnostic (1988/89) folgten Bloodbrain (1989/90), Purulent Obduction (1990 bis 1993) und Demoniac (1993/94). Diese Phase endete durch die Trennung von Röder & Schwach, die als "Count Damien Nightsky" & "Lord Asmoday" die eigene Pagan Metal-Band Andras gründeten. Als Moonblood vertieften Mothes & Schmat das Black Metal Konzept sowohl inhaltlich als auch musikalisch und wurden so zu einer Kult-Formation des Genres. Dies beinhaltete allerdings auch antireligiöse und extremistische Grenzüberschreitungen, vor allem in der Person Mothes', der u.a. parallel bei der Geraer NSBM-Band Totenburg und als Gast bei Nargaroth aus Eilenburg spielte. In Interviews zeigte er sich als Verfechter eines "Weißen Suprematismus" und wurde als Gastmusiker von der Band Lyssa entlassen, nachdem er bei einem Konzert den Hitlergruß gezeigt hatte. Auch über sein Solo-Projekt Nachtfalke (ab 1996) wurden rechtslastige Inhalte verbreitet.
Nach Betätigung der Musiker in zahlreichen regionalen Genre-Bands wurde 2013 schließlich Demoniac in der Besetzung Schwach / Mothes / Röder wiedervereinigt, Mothes wurde aber schon 2015 durch Wolfen ersetzt, gleichzeitig kehrte Mirko Schmat zurück. Seit 2019 ist die Besetzung Schmat / Röder / Wolfen.
1991 veröffentlichten Mothes und Schwach außerdem ein Grindcore-Demo unter dem Namen Excrement Terror.
